When the owners wanted to transform a classic beach cottage, they requested a laid back, open plan kitchen. With use of modern appliances and creature comforts, this was always going to be a kitchen to come home too.

Attention to detail with the grain direction on the Zebrano Laminex laminate board, running horizontal as opposed to vertical. Thicker 40mm Polar White Laminex square edge bench tops, with the heights set @ 950mm high for ease of cooking and preparing meals.

To keep the open plan styling, we went for a simple 2 door overhead unit, which has gas bracket struts which open towards the ceiling. A simple floating shelf below the unit completes the look.
